【アメリカ】ボストンのケンブリッジ図書館で2月から「広島・長崎を忘れるな」展開催／核ミサイル誘導システム開発のドレーパー研究所前で抗議行動

アメリカフレンズ奉仕委員会のジョゼフ・ガーソンさんからケンブリッジ図書館での原爆展と、核ミサイル誘導システムを開発している研究所前での抗議行動について情報が届きました。

ポスターによると、原爆展は2月いっぱい開かれるようで、この期間何回か映画上映と講演が組まれています。

友人のみなさん、

当地のケンブリッジ図書館で（2月から）おこなわれる「広島・長崎を忘れるな」展を知らせるポスターを送ります。この土曜日から張り出します。展示会が始まったらまた写真を送ります。

また、極寒の日の早朝にドレーパー研究所前で行われた小規模のデモの写真も送ります。

この研究所はアメリカの核搭載ミサイルの誘導システムを開発しているところです。同研究所の内外で論議を高めるためにはあと何回か行動が必要だと思いますが、その手始めとなる行動でした。この行動の先頭に立ったのはマイク・パッサリーニという、写真の中で一番若い青年です。

For your information, I’ve attached a copy of the poster that we have developed for the Remembering Hiroshima and Nagasaki exhibit at the Library here in Cambridge. We will be setting it up on Saturday, and as we can, we’ll send a few pictures from the exhibit once it is up.

Also, I’ve attached a couple of photos from a small demo this (cold!) morning outside Draper Laboratory. That’s where they make the guidance systems for all U.S. nuclear armed missiles. It will take some return visits to generate discussion within and outside of Draper, but it’s a start, led by Mike Passarini, the youngest in the pictures.
