1. International Meeting, 2009 World Conference against A & H Bombs

Representatives from peace organizations in Japan and overseas will report their activities and exchange their views of the situation and tasks facing us. A common view of the participants will be reflected in a declaration of the meeting adopted in the Closing session on August 5.

Travel to Hiroshima/Nagasaki:

Overseas delegates are requested to arrive in Hiroshima in time for the information meeting for overseas delegates from 19:00 on August 2 at Hotel Sunroute Hiroshima, where conference proceedings and other details will be explained.

Please refer to <http://www.hcvb.city.hiroshima.jp/e_navigator/> for travel information, including how to reach Hiroshima. The closest international airports are Hiroshima, Fukuoka and Kansai (Osaka).
Organizing Committee will arrange chartered bus transportation from Hiroshima to Nagasaki on August 7 for conference participants (free of charge).Information on travel to Nagasaki is available at <http://www.at-nagasaki.jp/foreign/english/>.

Accommodation:

On request, the Organizing Committee will arrange hotels in Hiroshima and/or Nagasaki for the conference participants. Room charge will be around 8000 - 10000 for a single room, and 14000 - 18000 for a twin/double room per night, including breakfast. Please indicate your need in the pre-registration form.
For peace movement representatives, there is a limited capacity for accommodation with local families in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Honorarium to host families will be covered by the Organizing Committee. If you need such accommodation, please let us know.
